  • This is a free workshop. If you would like to earn CEUs, there will be a $10 processing fee.
Thank you for registering for the "T" in LGBT! Entrance to the workshop is FREE for all. Certified interpreters - if would you would like to earn CEUs payment must be made before the workshop. The "T" in LGBT

In this widely acclaimed, thought-provoking and informative presentation, Drago and his partner, Jennifer, will help inform, educate and enlighten audience members on issues that affect transgender and transsexual individuals. 

Utilizing powerful images and healthy doses of humor, Drago will share his personal journey making the physical and cultural transition from female to male. Jennifer will share her perspective as the partner of a transman, lead us through issues of transphobia, and educate us on how to be trans allies. 

Medical terminology and culturally appropriate vocabulary in both ASL and English will be shared.

Presenters:

Jennifer and Drago have been presenting on transgender issues nationwide for over a decade.  They typically present at universities, including Gallaudet, CSUN and RIT/NTID, and have once presented during the National RID conference as well as to other local RID chapters.  This will be the first workshop for NorCRID and the second presentation locally.
