The 2021 NorCRID Board is proud to bring you this year's annual conference. We are committed to connecting and sharing knowledge with our members. The conference will continue to be held virtually so no matter where you are in the world you can join us via Zoom. If you attend all of this year's conference workshops you can earn a total of 1.0 CEUs (please see the breakdown for each session below).

Saturday, November 6th
Zoom - Virtual

  • 9:00-9:15am - Conference opens— breakout rooms
  • 9:15-9:45am - Conference begins— opening remarks from Board
  • 9:45-10:00am - Break/return to breakout rooms
  • 10-12am - Dr. Corinna Hill - 'Can You See Me Now?' A History of Telecommunications Technologies for the Deaf  (0.2 CEUs)

Social Events - Bring Your Own Lunch to various sites (no CEUs)

  • 12-1pm - Travel/Lunch
  • 1-3pm - Separate breakout sessions (San Francisco, Oakland/Berkeley, East Bay, South Bay, Zoom): Social time and lightly guided discussions lead by board members - Specific locations and map TBD
  • 3-4pm - Return Travel

  • 5-6pm - Closing Remarks from Board, time for follow up questions

*NorCRID's Business Meeting will be held Sunday, November 7th 9:00-10:00am. President's report, membership report and fiscal report will all be given during that time as well as voting in new board positions. Voting for board positions include:

  • Vice President (2 year term)
  • Secretary (2 year term)
  • Deaf Member at Large (2 Year Term)  
  • Member at Large (2 year term)
  • Member at Large Alternate (1 year term) 
  • Member at Large Alternate 2 (1 year term) 

Any member business or propositions should be brought up during the business meeting. The board has no new proposals for the membership this year.

We are working hard to cover the total cost of the conference which is approximately $3000. If you'd like to donate to NorCRID we would appreciate your support. 

NorCRID is committed to creating a fully accessible conference.   Attendees will communicate in ASL. Please let us know if we have missed anything so we can grow and improve.
